Privacy Notice

1. Who we are

Recrutement Relèvesanté Inc. ("we", "us"), operating the Relèvesanté service, is the data controller for personal information collected through the Service. We are based in Québec, Canada.

2. Personal data we collect

Account & identity: first and last name, date of birth, email, phone number, login credentials.
Professional data (locums): profession, licence number and year of obtention, SIN (for tax reporting), ID document, software and language proficiency.
Business data (owners): legal and operating name, branch address(es), pharmacy/clinic details, billing contact.
Billing: billing address, tax numbers (GST/QST), void cheque / bank details for payouts. Card data is collected directly by our payment provider — we do not store it.
Usage: jobs viewed, applications, messages, timesheets, invoices, device information, IP address, log data.
Location: home and business addresses used to calculate distance for job matching.

3. Why we use it (purposes & legal basis)

Provide the Service (contract performance): create your account, match jobs, run contracts, timesheets and invoicing.
Payments & tax compliance (legal obligation, contract): process subscriptions and generate invoices with GST/QST.
Security & fraud prevention (legitimate interests): protect the platform and its users.
Product improvement & support (legitimate interests): diagnose issues, respond to inquiries.
Communications (contract / consent): transactional emails; marketing only where you have opted in.

4. Who we share it with

Other users of the Service, to the extent needed to fulfil a job or contract (e.g. a business sees an applicant's profile; an applicant sees the pharmacy details).
Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, which handles checkout, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing and related customer service.
Service providers / subprocessors: cloud hosting, database and authentication (Lovable Cloud / Supabase), address autocomplete and distance calculation (Google Maps Platform), email delivery, analytics and error monitoring.
Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
Public authorities where required by law or valid legal process.

5. International transfers

Some subprocessors may process data outside Canada (including the United States and the European Economic Area). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations. Contract, timesheet and invoicing records are typically retained for up to seven (7) years after the end of the fiscal year. Account data is deleted or anonymised on request unless a legal obligation requires further retention.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including Québec's Law 25 and, where relevant, the GDPR), you may request to: access your data, correct or update it, request deletion or de-indexing, restrict or object to certain processing, port your data, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights contact privacy@relevesante.ca. You may also lodge a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or your local supervisory authority.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database — to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure; we work continuously to improve our safeguards.

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We may use analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage; you can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
